Too Much Screen-time?
The iCaur 03 is an eye-catching blocky electric SUV with a very simple interior. Much of the controls are placed in the 15.6-inch touchscreen infotainment unit in the middle like many modern cars.
While functions like adjusting the side mirrors, opening the glovebox, and changing the air-con fan speed have transitioned from physical buttons to the screen on other brands, the 03 has added a couple essential controls onto the tablet.
Should carmakers place every control onto the screen or stop replacing the fuss-free physical switches, buttons, knobs, and dials?
